The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) business unit is responsible for developing and maintaining the enterprise-wide function of electronic mapping within the City of Sarasota. The unit assists clients in geographical data creation and maintenance, map production, and application development. An interactive mapping system is under construction at this time.
